A combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Steven carried the values of service, discipline, and leadership into business and community impact. Steven also serves as an Honorary Commander with the 184th Wing, sits on the Chamber Board of Directors, and is honored to serve as Board Chair of Beyond the Call, supporting first responders, veterans, and the communities they serve

Jake Ramstack is a Commercial Broker and Trusted Real Estate Advisor at InSite Real Estate Group. Jake is referred to as the “Ambassador” of Wichita, and his love for the city is infectious. He is sought after to serve both professional clients, and non-profits in the community with a broad array of knowledge, integrity, and experience.

 Harrison Helms serves as Wichita Regional President at Equity Bank, bringing more than 12 years of banking experience and deep roots in the Wichita market. Prior to joining Equity Bank in 2026, he spent eight years in Wichita as a commercial real estate banker, building strong relationships across the business community. Harrison earned

Prior to joining Equity Bank in 2026, he spent eight years in Wichita as a commercial real estate banker, building strong relationships across the business community. Harrison earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas. He is also passionate about community involvement and has volunteered with organizations including the Boys & Girls Club and Harvesters.

She is passionate about supporting the firefighter community through both her professional and personal experiences. Her husband, Johnny, is an eight-year veteran of the Wichita Fire Department and one of the founders of Beyond The Call. Together, they are dedicated to advocating for the health, wellness, and long-term support of first responders and their families.

Dani Gains supports revenue and events at The Journal, a publication of the Kansas Leadership Center, where she oversees community engagement efforts and initiatives focused on civic participation and civic education. Coming from a family deeply connected to the fire service, Dani is passionate about supporting firefighter health and wellness through her work with Beyond the Call.

 Captain Stephen Runyan is a 24-year veteran of the fire service and is currently assigned to Truck 2 at 2nd Battalion Headquarters, Firehouse 2.  Captain Stephen Runyan is a 24-year veteran of the fire service and is currently assigned to Truck 2 at 2nd Battalion Headquarters, Firehouse 2. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to firefighter training, leadership, and professional development. In addition to serving as a board member for Beyond the Call, Stephen is also a board member for Wichita H.O.T., the Wichita Fire Department Hiring Coordinator, Georgia Smoke Diver #1043, and an FDIC H.O.T. Manager. His dedication to mentoring and advancing the fire service continues to make a lasting impact both within the department and throughout the firefighting community.

Dal Gains is a Lieutenant with the Wichita Fire Department, where he has served for 15 years as a firefighter, Rescue Team Member, and Peer Support Member. After recognizing major gaps in mental and physical health support for firefighters, he became one of the founders and now serves as Executive Director of Beyond the Call. His mission

After recognizing major gaps in mental and physical health support for firefighters, he became one of the founders and now serves as Executive Director of Beyond the Call. His mission is to improve wellness, peer support, and access to care for firefighters while helping break the stigma surrounding firefighter mental health.

After recovering from multiple duty-related injuries and experiencing firsthand the shortcomings in firefighter recovery and long-term care, he developed a strong passion for firefighter wellness and health advocacy. Above all else, Johnny is a proud husband and father who credits his wife and son as the driving force behind everything he does.

Konner Knoll is a six-year firefighter with the Wichita Fire Department, currently assigned to Rescue 1. A Wichita native, Konner graduated early from Wichita Southeast High School to pursue professional soccer with Sporting Kansas City before ultimately finding his calling in the fire service. After overcoming years of addiction and home

Konner Knoll is a six-year firefighter with the Wichita Fire Department, currently assigned to Rescue 1. A Wichita native, Konner graduated early from Wichita Southeast High School to pursue professional soccer with Sporting Kansas City before ultimately finding his calling in the fire service. After overcoming years of addiction and homelessness, Konner has now been sober for more than seven years and is dedicated to helping others through peer support, education, and advocacy. While he is passionate about the physical wellness of first responders, his greatest focus is advocating for mental health awareness and support within the fire service. His mission is deeply personal, driven by the loss of his older brother, Taylor, to overdose in 2019 and the mother of his child to suicide in 2022. Outside of the department, Konner is a proud husband to Ann Marie, father to Ava, Taylor, Haley, and Gavin, and “Grampy” to Tatum, Paisley, and Baker.

Keenan Eaton was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, and brings a unique blend of athletic, leadership, and fire service experience to the Wichita community. A former Division I baseball player at Wichita State University, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice before being drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2014 ML

Keenan Eaton was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, and brings a unique blend of athletic, leadership, and fire service experience to the Wichita community. A former Division I baseball player at Wichita State University, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice before being drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2014 MLB Draft. Keenan currently serves as a firefighter with the Wichita Fire Department on Truck 2 A-Shift on the south side of Wichita and has pursued advanced fire service training as Georgia Smoke Diver #1195, a graduate of One Bad Tour 8, and Georgia F.L.A.M.E.S Class 37 COD #403. He is also an instructor with Tactical Advantage Training and enjoys spending time with his four-year-old Golden Retriever, Oliver.
